Dream, Girl (then get out there and do it!)
Co-Founder of girledworld Madeleine Grummet is delighted to be part of the panel of guest speakers at the inaugural Australian screening of acclaimed US documentary Dream, Girl on March 15 thanks to Suburban Sandcastles.
Dream, Girl the brainchild of US-based Producer Erin Bagwell, was made by an incredible all-female crew in New York, and celebrates inspiring, female entrepreneurs who are passionate about elevating and empowering women in business across the globe. Since screening at The White House the film has gone on to reach audiences in 81 countries with amazing storytelling that leaves you reeling (in a good way!)
Producer and Director Erin Bagwell was recently named on Oprah Winfrey's #SuperSoul100, a list featuring extraordinary individuals who live life intentionally, create transformative social impact and bring global inspiration to others (which this film certainly does in spades!)
This screening will assist Dream, Girl in its mission to tell the stories of struggle and triumph by females at the helm of brand new startups and multi-million dollar entities, and how they are breaking through biases and leading the charge of the new business normal to carve out the future of work (females are currently launching 1200 new businesses a day).
Join Madeleine Grummet, Jess Jones of Soar Collective, Bridget Wood (founder of these sell-out events) and a roomful of inspiring women to take in the film, ignite conversations about female leadership, courage and entrepreneurship, and celebrate the incredible women of Dream, Girl who are forging paths and fuelling the startup pipeline with disruptive businesses built on their own terms.
