Meet #STEM superstar and all-round girl-power inspiration Jessica Vovers - a University of Melbourne PhD candidate in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, Master of Biochemical Engineering and passionate advocate for diversity and advancement in STEM.

Taking stages, spreading the word and sharing her work with audiences here and afar, when she’s not in the lab Jess is also a Science Gallery Melbourne Advisor (see @scigallerymel), Keynote Speaker (she’s joined us at girledworld World of Work Summits since 2017), has an AWESOME fashion sense, and is a Curious Minds mentor.💡

But it's award-winning STEM waypavers like Jess who are pioneering work in this field, spearheading female STEM groups like @wiseunimelb, mentoring young girls in STEM pathways, and in her spare time founding orgs like @hollaback_melbourne - a global movement to end street harassment.👍🏽 .
