"It's never too late to be a rockstar."
At #girledworld we help girls find their inner rockstar whatever that might be.
Because we think girls need to speak up, step up and try bold, new and big stage things. Like learning about entrepreneurship, how to harness their inner power, how to think big and how to lead.
We do that by providing girls aged 15-18 with access on and offline to mentors, amazing female leaders and world-changing women so girls can see and be taught what's possible for them.
We also deliver events, programs and in-school workshops which are age-appropriate, highly engaging, interactive, and combine the latest thinking on leadership, innovation and startup methodology and practice.
Our leadership and entrepreneurship curriculum is based on extensive research, founder experience and input from leading education experts including the Melbourne Accelerator Program, Melbourne University, the Melbourne Business School, Foundation for Young Australians, YGAP (Young Generation Against Poverty) and the Wade Institute of Entrepreneurship. Our initiatives are continually evolving to make sure we're at the forefront of international best practice so we can deliver rich and high impact learning experiences to the girls we're trying to help step up.
We also believe one the most effective ways for girls to develop, adopt and practice new mindsets and skillsets is through immersive, practical experiences. So we collaborate with businesses big and small, startups, universities and co-working spaces to design internships, work experience placements, events and hands-on training programs to motivate and encourage girls aged 15-19 to step up to leadership, startups and STEM pathways.
If you're a business, startup or female leader with something to bring to the ecosystem, we'd love to hear from you!
