The inaugural sell-out girledworld Big Ideas Leadership Summit 2017 was held at the University of Melbourne's Wade Institute of Entrepreneurship in June 2017.
The event welcomed 500 female high school students from more than 50 schools across Victoria and NSW, and featured an extraordinary lineup of female trailblazers who joined us for two days of transformative, real-world career learning and employability skill-building.
The event was endorsed by the Australian Federal and Victorian State governments, made national media headlines, and since 2017 we have grown to build an amazing community of industry leaders, schools and career mentors who, together with us, are helping us achieve our mission of building the next generation of female founders, leaders and STEM champions.
